The ICSB 2011 World Conference Doctoral Consortium day welcomed 20 students from 13 different countries to Stockholm. Proposals accepted for the day covered a broad range of topics in entrepreneurship and small business from failure, survival and growth, strategy and innovation, clustering and community entrepreneurship, to entrepreneurship among disadvantaged groups, nascent entrepreneurship and the relationship between individual and context. These not only reflect the topics of the 2011 conference but also the interests of the global entrepreneurship research community. The day included key note speeches from Professors Hans Landström from Lund University and Bengt Johannisson from Jönköping University and was led to a successful conclusion by Professor Helle Neergaard, Aarhus University.
