Q1 2012 Visa Small Business Spend Insights |
At a high level, our 2012 first quarter small business survey results indicate: - Small business owners’ macroeconomic outlook may be the most optimistic it’s been since prior to the 2008 banking crisis and recession that followed.
- Confidence in revenue increases in the near term is higher than the past three consecutive quarters.
- With fuel prices on the rise, concern over continued increases in energy spending is high.
- Small business owners are feeling positive about their relationships with their financial institutions.
Those benefiting from this report will be our key U.S. small business constituents, including: - Issuing clients, informing our customers of small business attitudes, trends and insights so they are better equipped to strategically grow and manage their payment portfolios.
- Small business owners, providing a better understanding of their potential successes, solutions and challenges in the current economy.
- Suppliers and merchants to small businesses, informing them of needs and trends of this key B2B segment.
Q1 2012 Visa Small Business Spend Insights will be available on Visa Business Network ( www.visabusinessnetwork.com), Visa.com, VOL, and Client Central. Previous versions of Visa Small Business Spend Insights can also be found in these locations.
