International Council for Small Business (ICSB)
Founded in 1955, the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) was the first international membership organization to promote the growth and development of small businesses worldwide. The organization brings together educators, researchers, policy makers and practitioners from around the world to share knowledge and expertise in their respective fields. ICSB currently has 14 country-based or regional affiliates with members from over 70 different countries.

The Asia Council for Small Business (ACSB) is a regional council of affiliates of the International Council for Small Business (ICSB). Members of ACSB include:

Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ)
The goal of each ICSB Regional Affiliate Council is to provide long-term strategic plans for membership growth in their regions. Each Affiliate will designate its President to represent it as a non-elected Director on the ICSB Regional Affiliate Council. The ACSB's President will be elected to serve a three (3) year term, non-renewable. The Chairman of the ACSB will be elected as a non-President from one of the affiliate members. The ACSB office will include both an Executive Director and an Operations Manager. Each Regional Affiliate Council is required to hold at least one (1) meeting every year. An annual Regional Affiliate Council Work Plan must be presented to the ICSB Board at the Annual ICSB World Conference. During this meeting, Regional Council Presidents will be asked to present their work plans for the year. All ICSB Regional Affiliate Councils shall subscribe to the mission and goals of the International Council for Small Business.

Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (CCSBE)
The Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (CCSBE) is the only member based organization in Canada whose goal is to promote and advance the development of small business and entrepreneurship. Run by a volunteer Board of Directors, CCSBE works to create a network of academics, practitioners, and policy influencers who are interested in discussing and sharing best practices and research in the field.
Le Conseil canadien pour les PME et l’entrepreneuriat (CCPME) est la seule organisation canadienne basée sur l’adhésion des membres dont le but est de promouvoir et de favoriser le développement des petites entreprises et de l’entrepreneuriat. ICSB Argentina is an institution that gathers researchers and practitioners mostly from around the country, but it also has some members in neighboring countries, linked with development issues affecting small business. The main objective of the Network is to stimulate research in the field of small and medium enterprises, to improve knowledge, and generate proposals that will lead to better operation and management of firms and, consequently, the sector growth. The annual meeting draws people from Argentina and other Latin American countries and Spain.

ICSB Korea / Korean Association of Small Business Studies (KASBS)
The Korean Association of Small Business Studies (KASBS) conducts the following projects to achieve the purpose of contributing to the development of small businesses through initiating research and enlightenment and encouraging companionship among them. ICSB Republic of China, Taiwan (ICSB-ROC)
Founded in 1999, the International Council for Small Business, Republic of China (ICSB-ROC) was one of the affiliates of ICSB. The first affiliate president was the ex-president of Small and Medium Enterprise Credit Guarantee Fund of Taiwan, Chun Chang. The members were including of educators, business practitioners, government policy makers and researchers. They not only regularly participated activities, but also held the 46th ICSB World Conference, 2001, led Taiwan’s SMEs step forward to the international stage. ICSB-ROC in recent years runs by the current president, Dr. Kai Yang. Since 2010, China Youth Career Development Association (CYCDA) was as a secretary department and active handling affiliate operations, holding activities, publications and so on.

Middle East Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (MCSBE)
Middle East Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (MCSBE), is the outcome of the aspirations of a group of Egyptians dedicated to the vision of advancing entrepreneurship and small business in Egypt and the Middle East. MCSBE is an affiliate of the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) covering Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Morocco, and linking to the ICSB global network of affiliates and members from 70 countries around the world. Members of the MCSBE include representatives from government bodies, universities, business associations, banks, venture capital companies, donors, consulting companies, large corporations and entrepreneurial companies, business development service (BDS) providers, and development NGOs.
